On 17 August in the Mazowieckie Voivodship Office, in the presence of the infrastructure minister Andrzej Adamczyk and the deputy governor of Mazowieckie, Artur Stanowicz, three contracts were signed for the investment “The project and construction of the south exit of Warsaw express road S7 from the junction Airport of the South bypass of Warsaw, to the ring road of Grójec.” One of the sections, task C, junction Tarczyn North to the beginning of Grójec ring road, will be carried out by Mota-Engil Central Europe S.A.

The construction of the southern part of the S7 route from Warsaw to Grójec is one of the key investments for the capital’s transportation system, which significantly facilitates access to the southern suburbs and Mazovia regions (Piaseczno, Radom). It is also one of the last missing sections of the express connection between Warsaw and Krakow.

Holidays is a perfect time to rest, especially for students. However, young members of Polish Association of Civil Engineers and Technicians (PZITB) decided to spend their free time on hard work and help others. The third edition of Workcamp Lodz has just started, with the support of Mota-Engil Central Europe and the We support locally program.

During the previous edition of Workcamp Lodz, young members of PZITB renovated the rooms for the Child Care Home at ul. Nawrot in Lodz. At that time, Mota-Engil Central Europe, in addition to the newly renovated road, managed to equip the Home with new beds, mattresses, blankets, curtains and other daily necessities.

This year, the volunteers with the support of Mota-Engil Central Europe will renovate the Child Care Home No. 11 at ul. Wólczańska. They will brick, tile, paint walls, equip and refresh children’s rooms. It is a charitable action, realized with great passion and commitment. Works started on Monday, July 31, and their completion is planned for August 15th. The action and activities of the 20 volunteers is supported by Mota-Engil Central Europe under the We support locally program.

During the Safety Week, Mota-Engil Central Europe implemented many additional trainings, case-studies, practice meetings and exercises for the improvement of the safety on sites in Poland.

Mota-Engil Central Europe started the implementation of another two railway contracts in Poland. The first one – development of design documentation and construction works on the section Namyślin – Boleszkowice – MA border at km 265,980 – 285,000, the next – development of design documentation and construction works on the section Mieszkowice – MA border at km 285,000 – Dolna Odra, both under the task titled “Modernisation of the railway line no. 273 at the Głogów – Zielona Góra – Rzepin – Dolna Odra section, including the hubs no. 821 and 822″.

The commission is executed for PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. as part of a broader investment task of improving the capacity of the entire railroad line no. 273 Wrocław – Zielona Góra – Szczecin. After completing the works, the speed of passenger trains on the executed section will reach 120 km/h. The passenger comfort at the stations will also be improved.

On 12 July 2017, a missing 13 km section of Ostrów Wielkopolski bypass was completed within the express road S11, constructed by Mota-Engil Central Europe. The new route allows to take transit traffic out of the city. In the future, it will be a part of the S11 road linking Silesia with the Baltic coast, which is crucial for economic development not only in the Wielkopolska region but in the whole Western Poland. Thanks to the investment, the city was freed from heavy traffic. The route is well connected with other roads through the junction of Ostrów Wielkopolski East and Ostrów Wielkopolski South.

Mota-Engil Central Europe is building a new project in Łódź. This time, it is construction of multifamily residential building with commercial area, placed on Wodna street.

Nowa Dzielnica is a residential building in the new center of Łódź. It is a green area and place very well communicated with the city. In the neighbourhood parks, Piotrkowska street, museums and bike paths available. The scope of investment includes demolition works, earth works, construction of multifamily residential building (7 floors), un-derground garage.
