New provisions are obligatory, they uniform the personal data protection principles in the European Union and shall be binding for all entrepreneurs processing personal data in the territory of the European Union. GDPR introduces a lot of new provisions, including extension of employees’ rights, and provides control over personal data processing. At the same time, the regulation significantly increases entrepreneurs’ obligations in the scope of processed personal data.
Mota-Engil Central Europe has already started preparing for GDPR. A cycle of trainings for all company’s employees, who handle personal data while performing tasks, shall be held in the nearest future.
Personal data processing processes in the company’s departments shall be also re-stocked.
